We are starting Stems this week. We will be going over the stems in class with activities. I found a awesome online teacher handbook all about how to teach stems. It has amazing activities. We will have lots of fun with stems this year!

www.quizlet.com -with quizlet you have the option to make a free account I personally love quizlet so I would recommend you to make one but if you don't want to that is OK. It will not be required.

We are also continuing reading the play of Anne Frank. Journal grades have not been very good I made a power point and plan to put a link on the blog soon after we go over it in class. I just figured out since the power point is on my drive to get the power point email me and I will share power point with you! I want you to take notes on the power point before you can just print it out. :) I do not know if we will have reading time in class anymore since we are picking up stems. Remember to do your reading because you will have a background quiz after every reading. (which will be pretty much everyday) Quizzes went home today and some were a little low. If you want to you can have your parents sign for two extra points. :) This counts for everything from now on. I want to see grades go up!
Homework-
Stems- STUDY bring blank white paper (printer paper is fine) to class tomorrow for flashcards. there are 25 terms so I think 5 pieces will be plenty.
AF Reading- Do your Journal topic Why was Anne so happy when the workmen left? ALso read secen 4 in the Anne Frank play
